If you have not yet checked out Dr. Stephen Wangen’s monthly support group for digestive health, there is no time like the present! On the first Tuesday of every month, Dr. Stephen Wangen of the IBS Treatment Center hosts a support group meeting for those with IBS, gluten intolerance, and various digestive-related conditions. This event includes educational speakers, practical tools, and encouragement for anyone who would like to improve their digestive health.
I’ll be there this month, teaching a simple and delicious way of preparing gluten-free grains that only tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen! So please feel free to stop by, ask questions, or simply sit back and enjoy a sample! Sneak Peek: This is also a good time to come if you are interested in participating in an up-and-coming cookbook project! More to come soon…

Have you ever wondered what happens when an acupuncture needle is inserted? Or how placing a needle into a “point” on the leg can make our stomach feel better?
We will address these questions and many more during an interactive demonstration offered right at our home office in North Seattle. This event is especially intended for those who would like to learn more about ‘Qi’ and how it relates to our digestive health and wellness.
We will begin with a basic overview of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, followed by a live demonstration with plenty of room for individual questions. Whether you are curious or experienced, please feel free to bring questions or stories to share!
