Acupressure Massage

These integrative acupuncture sessions are often accentuated with various forms of bodywork, including Swedish massage, acupressure, and cupping* therapy. This combination amplifies the therapeutic effects of the treatment, while further calming the body and mind for deep healing to occur.

*Cupping is an ancient technique using suction to relieve a variety of conditions. Traditionally, a small flame is placed briefly inside a cup (often made of glass, or bamboo) to create a vacuum. The cup is then quickly placed on specific points or moved along broader areas of the body, similar to a deep tissue massage. Cupping relieves symptoms that often accompany digestive difficulties, including:

Headaches
Migraines
Neck tension
Menstrual cramps
And more…

“Sharon Gray’s acupuncture and massage treatments have had a wonderfully healing effect on my digestive difficulties! She also alleviates the chronic neck pain I’ve lived with for many months. The calm peaceful atmosphere of her studio and her gentle touch are conducive to a deeply meditative experience, and I always leave feeling as if I’m floating on air! I recommend her highly!” ~  Dixie, Seattle, WA
